Urine Protein Concentration Calculator

This app is intended to provide a table of concentration factors (CF) for your urine electrophoresis (UPEP) and urine immunofixation (UIFE) samples. Please follow these steps:

1. Select the model of concentrator you are using.
2. Select the final sample volume you need for your electrophoresis (in microliters).
3. Input the desired final TP for electrophoresis. Generally 1-2 G/dL is recommended for UPEP and 0.5-1 G/dL for UIFE. Please check with your electrophoresis supplier if you have questions on this.
4. Click Submit and your table will be displayed. You may then click on the Print Table button to have a record.
